2012 Idaho Shootists Shooting Schedule
This year, all club shoots will cost$10 per person unless otherwise indicated (see below). We will run a $10/head side-pot at all shoots for those who wish to participate. Money will be paid out 50%/30%/20% to top three. Pot size will be based on the number of participating shooters. Men's and women's pots may be different based on the number of shooters participating.
January
Saturday the 7th, Idaho City Community Center, 1000. Cost is $10. This is a club shoot, potluck lunch.
February
Saturday the 4th, Idaho City Community Center, 1000. Cost is $10. This is a club shoot, potluck lunch.
Saturday the 18th, @ Bounty Hunter's Indoor Range in Notus, Id. 1000 start. Cost is $25. This is the John Taffin Shootists Challenge. Top three prize package. Lunch provided.
March
Saturday the 3rd, Idaho City Community Center, 1000. Cost is $10. This is a club shoot, potluck lunch.
Saturday the 31st, Idaho City Community Center, 0900. Cost is $20. This is the Club Winter Championship. Top three prize package. Potluck Lunch. Open to all Idaho Shootists.
April
Saturday the 7th, Idaho City Community Center, 1000. Cost is $10. This is a club shoot, potluck lunch.
Saturday the 28th, range cleanup day, outdoor range, in preparation for our summer shooting season.
May
Saturday the 5th, Idaho City Outdoor range, 1000. Cost is $20. This is our Annual Charity Match. 50% of all money received will go to CFDA Shoot for the Stars Scholarship Foundation. The remainder will go towards a new net for our outdoor range. Bring your own lunch. Coffee and donuts will be provided courtesy of BlackJack.
June
Saturday the 2nd, Idaho City Outdoor range, 1000. Cost is $10. This is a club shoot, potluck lunch.
Friday the 22nd through Sunday the 24th, Idaho City Outdoor range. This is the Idaho State Championship. Cost is $100. See details on the Idaho Shootists website for entry forms, schedule, etc.
Saturday the 30th, Idaho City Outdoor range, 1000. Shoot for free. We will fire up the BBQ's after the match. Chicken breasts will be provided by the club, bring a side dish. Club appreciation day.
July
Saturday the 7th, Idaho City Outdoor range, 1000. Cost is $10. This is a club shoot, potluck lunch.
August
Saturday the 4th, Idaho City Outdoor range, 1000. Cost is $10. This is a club shoot, potluck lunch.
Saturday the 18th, Idaho City Outdoor range, 1000. This is our Annual Leather and Lace Match for the ladies. Cost is $15, paid by their male sponsor. Lunch provided by the men. Guns cleaned by the men, foot rubs.......well, you get the picture.
Thursday the 30th through 2nd of September, Pendleton OR Convention Center. The US National Championships. cost is $115. See details on the Idaho Shootists website for entry for, schedule, etc.
September
Saturday the 29th, Idaho City Outdoor range, 1000. Cost is $10. Last chance to warm up for the World Championships. Bring your own lunch.
October
Due to placement of the World Championships, there are no shoots scheduled in October. We have a range cleanup day on the 20th to winterize the outdoor range.
November
Saturday the 3rd, Idaho City Community Center, 1000. Cost is $10. Turkey Shoot. Come and win your Thanksgiving dinner. This will be a Dutch Oven lunch, so bring your black pots and cook up something delectable.
Saturday the 17th, Idaho City Community Center, 1000. Cost is $15. This is our Annual Aces and Eights shoot for the men. Lunch will be provided by the ladies, along with anything else they choose to do. Nagging will be kept at a strict minimum.
December
Saturday the 1st, Idaho City Community Center, 1000. Cost is $10. This is a club shoot, potluck lunch.
Friday the 14th, TBA, 1900. Club Christmas Dinner and Gift Exchange. Dinner will be provided by Idaho Fast Draw, LLC.
Saturday the 29th, Idaho City Community Center, 1000. Cost is $10. This is our last shoot of the year. Potluck lunch.
